HENRY AND MARIA TURNER
Henry TURNER and Maria BRIANT were both sent to Tasmania as convicts, Henry arriving on Augusta Jessie and Maria on the Frances Charlotte.
Maria was convicted of stealing from her father. Her sentence was for 7 years.
Henry was convicted for desertion (away for 24 hours) and was also sentenced for 7 years.
They were married on 6 September 1837 in St David's Church and had 9 children.
